We are looking for student-athlete's who have a strong work ethic & are
competitive by nature. Athlete's who are willing to work hard & will
meet the expectations needed to aid in the teams success both
academically & physically. Athlete's who know & understand what
a team environment demands, have the right attitude & doesn't quit
what they started.

COMPETITION TEAM MEMBERS ~ MUST COMMIT TO ALL PRACTICES, GAMES & COMPETITIONS.
SIDELINE TEAM MEMBERS ~ MUST COMMIT TO PRACTICES, COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS & GAMES.
NO VACATIONS SHOULD BE PLANNED DURING SEASON OTHER THAN TIME OFF AREAS.
SPEAK TO COACH BEFORE PLANNING ANY TIME OFF OR ATHLETE RISKS BEING MOVED TO
ALTERNATE OR DISMISSED FROM COMPETITION TEAM.
EAST CHEER STRIVES TO CONTINUE ITS SUCCESS OF FINISHING ITS COMP SEASON IN THE TOP 10 IN THE COUNTRY. THAT SUCCESS COMES WITH HONORING COMMITMENT & HARD WORK.
Once we are closer to the season we will lock in what comps we are doing from the list

COMPETING AT REGIONALS AND NATIONALS IS A PRIVILEGE. EAST MUST COMPETE AT DISTRICTS AND STATES (IF MADE) IN ORDER TO ATTEND NATIONALS. IF THE TEAM IS NOT MEETING THE DISTRICT EXPECTATIONS, WCASD HAS THE RIGHT TO DENY NATIONALS.

-Season mandatory start date August 10th per PIAA
- UCA MANDATORY CAMP is Aug 18-21st at Pine Forest Chestnut Lake
